Spaghetti & Meatball Sandwiches

Ingredients 

 4 (6.5 ounce) cans tomato sauce  (add extra can of tomato sauce for alternate meal)
 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
 2 bay leaves 
 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 
 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
 1 teaspoon dried basil 
 1 teaspoon dried oregano salt and pepper to taste 
 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti 

For the next night we're going to be fixing Meatball Sandwiches. So when you grocery shop buy a little extra ingredients, like the meat, French Rolls and Mozzarella Cheese

I personally like putting my meatballs in my sauce personally and letting it simmer for a little bit then
pour over my spaghetti noodles...mmm mmm good..Kids love it...

Directions 

In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat; drain and set aside. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine tomato sauce,diced tomatoes, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, pepper and Italian sausage; mix well. Simmer over medium-low heat for at least one hour; it is best if simmered all day. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Mix sauce with hot pasta; serve. 

 1 pound extra lean ground beef
 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 
 1 small onion, diced 
 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 
 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning 
 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano 
 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 
 1 egg 
 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs 


Directions 

Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place the beef into a mixing bowl, and season with salt, onion, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, oregano, egg, and Worcestershire sauce; mix well.Parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs. Mix until evenly blended, then form into 1 1/2-inch meatballs, and place onto a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, 20 to 25 minutes.


Night 2

Preheat oven 350 degrees

Grate a little mozzarella cheese
Cut french rolls in half,  not all the way through

We will take our spaghetti sauce and meatballs, reheat them just a little
Take our french rolls and pour meatball mix over bread
Put as much mozzarella cheese you would like
Put the sandwiches in the oven on a baking sheet for about 10-12
Pull those BAD BOYS out and you have an awesome second dinner
